Magnificent hotel
This was my second stay at this hotel and I loved returning to this gorgeous spot. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to Paddington station and about 5 minutes walk to Lancaster Gate station. Hyde park is a 5 minute walk away too. The room was very clean and was serviced daily. The gym is great too if you feel like a workout. The staff were very polite and allowed me to leave a bag with my belongings while I travelled across the UK, before I return again later in the week for another night when I will collect it. The room was compact but that’s expected in central London. I would definitely recommend staying here, I will be back again hopefully.

Very close to the underground stop of paddington convenient to move anywhere. bar associated with the hotel with breakfast for a fee but very good. very nice hotel lobby.

Love the fact that it’s a Bella Italia restaurant attached to the hotel for breakfast in the morning. So much choice and yummy food. Excellent location - right near Paddington train station and tucked away in a little square away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Lovely room - love the high ceiling!

Location is FAB, can't be beat if you are on work or sight-seeing. Just a 2 min walk to Paddington Station, less than 5 mins to the Lancaster Gate station and Hyde Park

And this may not be to the Mercure, but most Paddington hotels are converted from older residential apartment blocks so rooms are a bit poky and small; views are not great. But from the lot, the Mercure was very good!

As I got an upgrade on the reservation we stayed in an excellent room. Big room, very good bed and bathroom. Not to mention the sparkling wine and welcome chocolates.
Breakfast is served in a restaurant attached to the hotel, with a varied menu and plenty of options to serve.
