A lovely stay at a great location

I liked the decor, the location, the room, the food in the hotel restaurant. The bed was big and comfortable, cleanliness was on a high level. The staff was also nice. The room was quiet and peaceful.

The breakfast was nice in the Bella Italia unit which is situated inside the hotel, and also good for evening meal! Staff were nice and friendly at the hotel and the hotel is located in the nice setting of Talbot Square with Paddington Station nearby and we'll situated to allow easy access around London by taxi train and bus!

Beautiful London terrace building with very modern decor inside. I was upgraded to a king suite with a balcony which was lovely to sit on and enjoy the sun and fresh air looking over a park. The room had plenty of space and seating . Good size ensuite & shower. The bed was comfortable. Complimentary drinks in mini bar (water, coke) which was a treat. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Restaurant and shops can be accessed through the rear of the hotel and indigo hotel. This was a really handy short cut. All staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Paddington Station and the bus stop for tour buses eg. Big bus tours.

Upon arrival our room was ready early which was great! We checked in and headed to our room where a manager was doing the final cleaning checks which we were very impressed with! The room was very cosy and clean, perfect for our 2 nights in London! The next morning we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant, and on our second evening we ate at the Bella Italia which is joined to the restaurant. Whilst the restaurant was extremely busy due to it being Saturday evening, we were happy with our experience and everything was very tasty! The next morning we checked out and was able to leave our suitcases whilst we explored London on our last day. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others! Thanks for a great trip!

My London trip from dubai

I wanted to take the time and truly thank the staff at the mercure Hyde park. The service I have received has been greatly appreciated and recognised. I first stayed from the 4th - 7th feb, this was my first visit as I am from dubai and not familiar with the area however we seen good reviews so we chose this hotel. When we first received our key access to the room, we were not happy with the size. Antonio who was really kind and professional upgraded our room and gave us exceptional customer service. He was very polite, positive energy and was always ready to accommodate and ask us how our stay was and if we needed anything. I wanted to also personally thank Azka who accommodated with my stay, I came back as I really loved the hotel for one night before I fly back home 17th-18th, she gave me excellent service and checked up on me and was always ready to see if I needed anything. Massive thank you, sending my appreciation and gratitude to the staff. When I re-visit the Uk I would definitely come here again, also breakfast is amazing...
