Very Good
Hotel well located, quiet. Very clean room. Friendliness of the staff.
Excellent stay
Couldn't have asked for more. Excellent location, clean rooms and brilliant staff.
A pleasant stay
Loved the location - not far from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Super cute and quiet cul de sac, appreciated the toiletries and the breakfast at the restaurant.
We enjoyed our stay in a historical hotel with many thoughtful updates, great staff, and superb loca
Excellent customer care by reception staff. Great breakfast with lovely range of options. Interesting, well-curated theme in ground floor common areas highlighting local film history. Superb location. Easily walkable from Paddington Station terminus of Heathrow Express and GWR trains. Very walkable neighbourhood and the charming, leafy Talbot Square. Within easy walking distance of Hyde Park, shopping, ethnic restaurants, and more.
Nice hotel in a good location.
Very close to Paddington station, the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately, we were not entirely satisfied with the first family room because instead of a view of the city, we only had a view of a wall covered in plastic ivy. The hotel responded quickly and in a friendly manner and gave us two twin rooms. Thus, this problem was resolved to our complete satisfaction. We'd love to come back!
I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure London Hyde Park
I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure London Hyde Park. The location is absolutely perfect—just minutes from Paddington Station, yet tucked away in a peaceful and charming square. It’s a rare find in central London to have both quiet surroundings and such easy access to major areas. The hotel itself is fabulous. The rooms are a decent size (especially by London standards), well-appointed, and very comfortable. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful—it truly made the experience feel special. The proximity to key London spots like Hyde Park, Mayfair, Bond Street, and of course Paddington Station makes it ideal for both tourists and business travellers. Whether you’re heading out for a day of sightseeing or catching an early train, everything is incredibly convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
Great Stay
Perfect location, close to Paddington but very quiet. Easy reach of Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall. Usual good room and friendly, helpful staff.
Great staff…great location
Short 3 night stay. Booked flex hours and room was ready at 9am. Friendly staff and good location, very short walk to Paddington Station.
It was first class.
We could not have received better service. It was first class. The staff team, the location, the decor and the facilities. Really close to Paddinton but so quiet. Cannot recomnend it highly enough. 5 star service.
A good option close to Paddington Station
The hotel is very well located with about an easy 10 minute walk to Paddington Station and plenty of restaurant options along the way. The hotel is small with extremely narrow corridors but with rooms that surprise. The rooms are a reasonable size, nicely decorated and well equipped. There is no bar or restaurant but lots of options very close by. A very good option when needing something close to Paddington Station.
